Conferences operate as the biannual strategic offsite for all of my aims. I rely on the people that gather "especially year after year” to help me jump the hurdles of my operations.

This is my very first InfluentialU conference in-person or virtual, so I came in not really knowing what to expect. I definitely did not expect to meet as many people, or make as many amazing connections as I did. I didnt expect that Id find a drive in me to push through health issues in order to be present and engaged every day here. There are many things in life which are preceded by hype, excitement and high expectations (think ads for Coca Cola - oh, I'll have an amazing life if I drink Coke) only to then be disappointed. InfluentialU conferences are promoted as extraordinary experiences, and they deliver. I am unaware of any other type of conference where the excitement of participants before conference was palpable (I think of medical conferences), and the value delivered throughout the conference actually exceeded expectations. AND - that has happened every year I've been at conference since 2014.

Ive come to expect high value and results from Influential U conferences. It forces me to step outside my everyday and into an intentional space of learning and application. I've been to many of Influential U's bi-annual conferences since the MidYear Conference of 2013. I usually attend in person. This year's annual on Zoom might have been as impactful as my first in-person conference which was then and is now a real gAIM changing experience. It's the sociality of work together towards the invention of a masterful practice in our own unique offers that really makes all the difference. Far more priceless than what I pay. Far more!
